Privacy Policy for Amazon CVR Tool

This Privacy Policy describes how the Amazon CVR Tool ("the Extension") handles user information in compliance with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies.

1. Information Collection and Use

The Amazon CVR Tool is designed with a "Privacy First" approach. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or sensitive user data to external servers.

• Local Processing: All data parsing and calculations (Conversion Rate) are performed entirely within your local browser environment. No data from your Amazon Advertising account is ever sent to us or any third party.
• No Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, login credentials, or any other identifying information.
• Permission Usage:
  • activeTab & scripting: Used solely to read the numerical values of "Orders" and "Clicks" on your active Amazon Advertising dashboard to calculate and inject CVR badges.
  • storage: Used exclusively to save your local preferences, such as "Auto Mode" and "Color Coding" settings.

2. Data Security

Because the Extension operates locally and does not transmit data, your advertising performance data remains securely within your own Amazon session. We use MutationObserver technology to detect table updates in real-time without ever needing to export or "read" your data outside of the immediate display context.

3. Third-Party Access

We do not share, sell, or trade any user information with third parties, advertisers, or any other entities. The extension does not use any third-party analytics or tracking scripts.

4. Compliance with Google’s Limited Use Policy

This Extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It only accesses the minimum necessary data to provide the primary user-facing feature (calculating and displaying CVR) and does not use this data for any other purpose.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Extension's features or legal requirements. Any changes will be reflected by the "Effective Date" at the top of this document.
